What They’ll Learn
Our approach to coaching our mini’s focuses on being fun, safe, and supportive. Your child will walk away not only with new techniques, but with a deeper understanding of the benefits of running. Confidence, concentration, coordination and resilience are a few of the key benefits. The goal is to leave your child with ideas and skills that feel clear, useful, and genuinely meaningful in their life.
Team Work & Social Skills
Children learn to work together, communicate, encourage others and develop friendships in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment.
Confidence & Resilience
Children build self-confidence, learn to overcome challenges, celebrate personal progress and develop a positive attitude towards physical activity.
Speed, Agility, & Coordination
Children develop running technique, acceleration, balance, coordination and agility through fun games and age-appropriate athletic activities.
Testimonial“The coaches are kind and give us time to play games.”
-- Milo, Mini’s Dalkeith

Your Questions, Answered-
Absolutely not! Our sessions are designed for children of all abilities, from complete beginners to those who already love running. We focus on having fun, building confidence, improving fitness and celebrating individual progress.
-
Yes, absolutely! - We offer one free trial session at one of our selected venues, subject to availability. Please complete our free trial form before attending so we can confirm availability and arrange your child's place.
-
The safety and well-being of our young runners is always our priority. While we aim to deliver every scheduled session, cancellations may occasionally be necessary due to severe weather, unsafe track conditions, venue closures or other circumstances beyond our control.
If a session needs to be cancelled, we will notify parents as soon as reasonably possible through our usual club communication channel, Whatsapp.
As membership fees secure your child's place in the club and contribute towards ongoing coaching and operating costs all year round, refunds are not normally provided for individual cancelled sessions. Where possible, we will consider suitable alternatives at our discretion.
We appreciate your understanding and patience when circumstances beyond our control affect a session. Our aim is always to provide a safe, enjoyable and consistent running experience for every child.
-
Parents and carers are more than welcome to stay during our sessions to watch on for support and encouragement, but this is completely optional.
Parents and carers should ensure their child is safely handed over to the coaching team and collected promptly at the end of the session.
-
Sessions include a warm-up, fun running games, speed and agility activities, running technique and age-appropriate challenges. Activities vary from week to week to keep children engaged, active and motivated while helping them develop their skills.
-
Membership is linked to the specific venue your child has registered for. It does not automatically include access to sessions at our other venues. Please contact us if you would like to enquire about attending an additional venue.
-
Children should wear comfortable sports clothing suitable for the weather, along with trainers appropriate for running. Please bring a waterproof jacket or extra layers when needed and ensure your child has water for the session.
-
Please tell us about any relevant medical information, injuries, allergies or support needs before your child's first session. This helps us consider appropriate adjustments and plan activities with your child's safety and participation in mind.
-
Yes!, we offer discounted membership packages if you have more than one child attending. Please get in touch to arrange this if applicable.
